If someone's interested, that's great! Maybe you can get in touch with that person and work something out?

Oh, wow. I'm so sorry, Jan! I hope Shah and Spike are okay. Poor Pippin! Luckily you now know what's wrong, and are working to fix it.

I'm so relieved to hear that Pippin is improving. Dang, it's so hard when our babies are sick and can't tell us what's wrong! I'm sorry the first vet visit was a waste, ugh. Sending healing thoughts to Pippin, and ((((((((((HUGS)))))))))) to you!

I'm sorry for your loss, easttex. Don't blame yourself for loving your mom. Letting go is incredibly difficult. Rats can make wonderful pets. It amazes me, how smart they are.

I agree, it's very difficult to know how our little family members are feeling. You really shouldn't be too hard on yourself. The same can be said about people, too. It's hard to know when to stop receiving treatment. I'm going to get personal, please bear with me. My dad has been living with one brain tumor for about 20 years. Two more were found a few years ago. In that time, he's endured a tumor removal surgery, multiple rounds of chemo and radiation, a cerebral bypass surgery (one of the scans for cancer found an aneurysm), more chemo and radiation, a gamma knife laser treatment, more chemo, and just a few months ago he became symptomatic again, but his blood work showed that his body cannot tolerate more treatment. In spite of this, last week he made the decision to have one more chemo treatment. It most likely won't have any benefit, and the end of his life could be very near. When do you say "Enough is enough?"

The only time I've seen a King Parrot, I felt terrible for it. It was an Amboina King Parrot, and it was in a little cage in a pet store, on the floor, with a Cockatiel cage stacked on top of it. I don't remember much about it, except that it was a gorgeous bird, and the cage was little and dark.
This was a really long time ago, I think I was in high school or had just graduated...or something. I don't remember how much they wanted for it.

Yes! The one in Seattle has budgies, cockatiels and rosellas. The budgies are the most social.

I love GoT, but for those who haven't seen it and are considering it, it is INTENSE.
Be warned, violence and nudity abound. LOL
