I spent time with my parents tonight... had a really nice visit, looking at pictures in my dad's album. You just want to hold onto them forever... |

I thought so too. If I were to caption this picture, the look on his face says exactly what Easttex wrote! He reminds me, in this picture, of when my son was young. He would get into stuff and I'd go in search of him to see what he was destroying. As soon as heard me coming he would run over to me with the MOST GUILTY look on his face EVER and say "I'm "being - have"!!!!!" His interpretation of "behaving" LOL That reminds me of a story my mom likes to tell about when I was little...I think she said I was around 3, but I'm not sure. My dad was supposed to be watching me, while my mom was sleeping. He was in the kitchen and I was in the living room. Apparently I was being really quiet, and he said "Danielle, what are you doing?" to which I answered "Makin a mess." He thought "Oh, okay..." and continued what he was doing. When he finished and came out to the living room, I had dumped a bag of flour on the floor and was having a ball, grabbing handfulls and tossing it in the air! LOL At least I was honest...... |

Hi all!
I just want to let you all know that there will be times when I can't be around. Several of my family members have health issues, and my good days (when I don't have migraines) need to be spent with them.
I won't go into details but prayers, good karma, etc. would be appreciated!

Not yet. My new doctor is convinced that most of the migraines are actually a withdrawal reaction to one of my medicines (it has caffeine in it). So that's good to know.
Some not-so-good news is that the neurologist who she referred me to is not in my insurance company's network. So I called them today to find out what to do, and my doctor would need to send in a Prior Authorization form, to see if my insurance company would pay for the visit or not. I went to see her yesterday for some other issues, and am going back in a couple of weeks, so she'll refer me to someone else (who is in my insurance company's network) at that point.

It really is, Easttex. I'm afraid to leave my house...heck, I often don't leave my house, because I don't want to be stuck somewhere.
I've seen Cami a handful of times since November, and I miss her like crazy.

OMG, I'm absolutely SICK of these stupid things!!! I was in agony, (seriously, the pain was almost unbearable), from 8:30 to around 6:45 yesterday. I have another one now, and they're HORRID!!
The really good news is that I had an appointment with a new doctor on Wednesday, and that woman doesn't waste time. I like her a lot. I already have referrals to a neurologist who specializes in migraine, and an opthalmologist. Just waiting for them to call me so I can get appointments.

I make beaded jewelry and am addicted to Swarovski and Chinese crystal, because it is SO sparkly. A good friend of mine is the opposite. She thinks they're gaudy. LOL
