Poor Benjy, but that is so funny! If I saw Chewy shaking Pico by the tail, I would be horrified, but if he wasn't hurt I would crack up! LOL

I really hope so, Aaron! I think he did see his toy and Zach's hand. I hate second guessing myself.

Sedona, Monument Valley, and Bryce (the rounded formations remind me of Bryce) and Zion Canyons. Yes, indeed!

Aww, I can relate to your FIL...we just moved my 97 year old grandma into a nursing home. She keeps falling.

I'll let Siobhan speak for herself, but I just want you to know that she's okay.

Well.....I *think* Pico can see, anyway. He still doesn't move around his cage very much at all.

The email I wrote to Pico's breeder: Dear Nita, I cannot believe I'm able to tell you this. Pico is regaining his sight!!!!! I am over the mooon, ecstatic, shocked, amazed, and HAPPY as all get out!!!!! Yesterday was Day 2 of the Celebrex, and last night when Zach and I were changing the food and waters, Pico was sitting on the floor of his cage, next to where I was standing. A few weeks ago, I had moved a toy from the top of the cage to the bottom, so it would be easier for him to reach, if he were so inclined. It's acrylic, and has three or four "keys" hanging from it, that make noise when they hit each other. I played with it for awhile, to let him know it was there, but he completely ignored it. Well, while I was standing next to his cage, he very deliberately reached out with his beak and tested one of the "keys". He seemed excited that it moved, and he did it again. I asked Zach if he saw that, and said "Oh my gosh, I think Pico can see!" so Zach opened the cage door and put his hand in a little ways. Pico's back was to the door (he was facing the back of his cage), and he immediately turned around and RAN (stumbled as fast as he could go) to Zach's hand to be picked up! This morning when I uncovered his cage, he turned around and made a beeline for his water dish (this is different, because he was still next to his acrylic toy and normally he would have been confused about where he was in his cage...he's had three "spots" that he could find easily). Before he went blind, he had two little plastic cat toys withe bells inside that he LOVED to throw around his cage. I picked one up and shook it and set it beside him, and he reached out and touched it with his beak. Nothing else, but the fact that he knew where it was was enough for me! Last night I thought long and hard about why he might have inflammation behind his eyes, and the only thing I could think of is that he injured his little head when he flew into a wall. Poor guy. He'll continue to be on the Celebrex for the rest of his life. I had to tell you this ASAP! Have a wonderful day, Dani

It costs $46 for 20mL (it's the same price for 10mL). The dose is .03mL, so the 20mL I ordered is nearly a two year supply! LOL Unfortunately, it expires after three months. I didn't know the dosage or the expiration date when I ordered it. I'll know better next time. I'm crying right now, I'm so ecstatic!!! It's almost 2am here, and I don't know if I'll be able to sleep tonight. I can't believe it!
