On the subject of "I think everyone here loves all living creatures"...
I was talking with a group of friends outside of the auction house this afternoon, and one of them had her daughter in tow. The little girl was sitting on the ground and the woman next to me said "There's a bee right behind you, be careful." And then proceeded to step on it.
It made me sad. :-(

Okay, how in the world did I miss this thread?  For one, Scooter is beautiful (and smart)!! Two, I have a Roomba, and love it! The birds are terrified of it, though. Poor Taz shrieks and falls off his perch every time it comes near his cage. Chewy knows that Taz is Top Bird, and reacts to his fear. Third, I can understand why Scooter's previous owner wanted to visit, but hopefully she won't come back for awhile. Poor Scooter! Fourth, we have linoleum in the pet room, and it makes cleaning much easier. Finally, WELL DONE!!! :-D |

Yup, Chewy definitely knows Taz. I don't know for sure if Taz knows Chewy. I don't know if either of them know Phoenix. :-)

My sister's family are definitely not mouse lovers. I learned that the other day when I was hanging out with my nieces and there were snapping mouse traps everywhere.
We were playing a game and my oldest niece screamed "A mouse!" and asked me to put a trap next to a certain hole in the wall. I tried to sabotage the trap by putting it too far away, but my niece caught on. LOL
She said "No Ti, you have to put it closer." and I said "But I don't want it to die!" LOL She gave me a look (she felt bad) and said "It HAS to die, because it's in our living area." LOL

He still runs away from me when I pick him up, but hopefully that will pass eventually. LOL
