Just to let you know I will be absent for a few weeks as I am taking my husband for surgery in Toronto. After our return I will be playing nurse for a while until he gets stronger.

Thank you all. We are back safe and sound and yes Casey's mom... we were right downtown. Actually went to three different hospitals. His surgery was on Tuesday and it went pretty good. Not what we expected but we still had the best Doctors so we are grateful for that. He is recovering well at home now... but of course I am the best nurse... lol... just need the sexy outfit to go with my skills... lol.
Oscar was of course very excited to see me again... Just shaking happy. He nibbled my lips and pulled my little hairs all the way home. First thing he always wants is a bath... so he had that... and a little snooze... and now happily on my shoulder following me everywhere. I swear the best part about leaving home is coming back to see Oscar's excitement. You just can't help but smile when you see how he acts. I even dreamed of him 3 nights in a row. Sure did miss him.
Good to be back and thank you once again.

I'm glad everything went well...hope you won't be too overworked as a carer. Don't forget to look after yourself! Oscar obviously DOES appreciate his human slave after all, judging by his behaviour upon your return. |

So glad the surgery went well and you are now home safe and sound. It must be lovely having a bird who appreciates it when you get home.
