Poor little Johnnie... That was a very nice thing you are doing Susan. It is terrible to see these little smart creatures in such distress. Bless you.

Here in Northern Ontario it is not unusual that my patio will have snow right up to the railing tops... so that would be 5 feet. Our roads are constantly ice packed... I won't see the pavement until Spring. Snow Banks are enormous... at least 15 feet high. The kids love them.
This year I can still see the railing on the patio... so we have maybe one foot accumulation. Beautiful winter!!
We had a storm one year and just like the news on TV when I opened my door to go outside, it was totally snow packed. Funny how we never make the news for such a common occurrence lol lol

I'm with you Gary... Oscar played with it... dropped it... and never wanted another. At least Ralph used his to build with.

That is a good video easttex and yes... the bird does seem to enjoy it. Still.... it isn't for me.... but I can appreciate the effort it takes to get the bird used to it.

That is really cute Siohban. Jade sounds like quite the comedian there. Sure would be nice if these little creatures would stop biting the hand that feeds them.... or the face that is near their shoulder perch... lol

That is a lot of snow for you guys for sure... but for us... that is nothing. ha ha ha... This year we have the least amount than we have had in 10 years... but that won't last for next year I am sure.

Ponyrider... is that a picture of your QP in your profile? Is she white? I have never seen a white one before. Sure is a pretty bird.

Yeahhhhhh... that is good news Aaron... especially about the part everybody gets to stay home. Wow... It is hard for a northern like me to imagine that it is almost the end of January and you have not turned the heat on yet. Lucky you!!

Hello Iwa and Rio. I think easttex hit it right on the nose with good advice and good questions.

Great pictures. I must get Oscar to eat the red seeds. All other QP's seem to enjoy them so I just have to try harder.
