I have a Canon PowerShot SX500, which I love. It's not a very fancy camera, but it's sensitive enough that it is easy to take bad pictures! LOL

LOL I don't see a bird in the first one....the first one is a close up of a fly on a tree.
The second is harder...there's a tree frog...

LOL Quakerville "used" to be a page dedicated to Stanley the Quaker, and was full of information and links. It appears to have since changed! Sorry! And apparently Quakerman has disappeared, too, which is sad because I loved his pictures.

I just have to share with you all....Zach's dad is coming to town on Tuesday, and staying for two weeks. Yay!!! I've been busy cleaning the house, and decorating a bit. I'm an amateur photographer (meaning that I like to take pictures of things - landscapes and animals, mostly - and some of them actually turn out). I've finally gotten around to framing some of the better ones, and hanging them up. I feel happy! Here are a few: The person looking through the binoculars was a complete fluke. We were on a whale watching trip, and a small channel between two islands was completely socked in. We were a good distance away (my camera has a great zoom) and all you could see was this boat "floating" in the fog. When I got home and uploaded this photo, I was shocked, and super excited. There's something so soothing about moving water...

You were "with" me the whole time, Jan. Thank you. And I'm glad I didn't get sick, too!!!

Yes, there are Quakers with red eyes. I don't know if this link will help you, but you can check out Tom Nemerovsky's website, www.quakerman.com. I don't believe the site has been updated in many years, just an FYI.

I don't know anything about breeding, I'm sorry! I can try to find some answers for you, though!

Yes, it most definitely is! I'm really thankful for my friend whose house Cami is boarded at, and her boyfriend. They caught it fast. I'm also pretty proud of myself, for keeping going that night, even though I was tired and freezing cold. I had never been in a situation like that, and I felt really helpless at the time but she pulled through.

I haven't ridden her yet, but Cami is great! Back to her normal sweet and sassy self!

I made Zach wait before he rescued Chewy, so I could run and get the camera.
