My parents-in-law had a budgie who was the same. How could a bird's reflection compete with the girlfriend who lives in the mirror?  |

Peppy has finally started to enjoy looking at himself. I put in a mirrored toy that has four buttons that play things like Hello Bird! After a couple days just gazing at himself, he started to gnaw on it. The first time it came out with I Love You!, he was gobsmacked.  He left it alone for a few days, but is back at it. Can't wait to see him the next time it speaks to him. |

ooohhh... I must get me one of those. Usually Oscar hates the bird in the mirror... but one that talks back... hmmmm could be interesting.
