Saturday I brought home a new companion. Kiwi is 12 weeks old and almost weaned I have him eating out of a plastic spoon. I am feeding him Kaytee Exact food the pet store recommend. Kiwi is also eating a seed mixture, I have been doing it 3x a day. However it seems that he is not that interested in the mixture. I think I will eliminate the lunch feeding and see how he manages.
We live in an apartment in coastal NC.

Welcome sharon and Kiwi! Congrats on your new little one. You've certainly come to the right place if you want to talk Quakers. And we know they can be quite complicated little ones, so please let us know if you have any questions at all! Keep us posted on how things go!

Welcome Sharon and Kiwi. If Kiwi doesn't like the mixture there are many other soft foods you can give him such as macaroni (cooked) rice, small pieces of grained bread dipped in juice or water and there of course are a variety of fruits as well. My QP does not like cooked vegetables except potatoes. Just be sure that when offering fruits or vegetables that they are all peeled and do not let them eat the seeds.
Good LUck
