As you may or may not know, Happy is afraid of fingers. We suspect that her former owners flicked her beak with their fingers because of her fear of them. It's been four or five years now, and the other day after her bath she FINALLY let me pop her quills and rub her neck. She's been letting me do that ever since. I'm hugely excited because I'm so touched that she trusts me enough to overcome her former fears. I've been overjoyed every time she allows me to do this.

That is a seriously big step for her to take. Isnt a lovely feeling when they allow you to do something that they never wanted done? It just makes time with them so much more special. You are to be congratulated on your persistence and for never giving up.
