Ouch! This doesn't sound fun. I don't have much advice, except that when it comes to honey, the less processed it is, the better the chance that it will help. So if you can find the raw, cloudy looking stuff, that's better.

I'm happy to say that the stings have almost completely cleared up now-- just some little pimple-sized bumps that hardly itch at all any more. I decided to skip the honey treatment-- seems too messy and sticky. Some other home remedies I found on the internet-- and didn't try-- included rubbing a raw potato or raw onion on the sting, dissolving an aspirin in water and washing the sting site with that, and applying antiperspirant to the stings. Shows you to what extremes a bee sting can drive a person to think of trying some of these ideas.

I know people who have tried a poultice made up of chewed up chewing tobacco and, obviously, saliva. But if you're not already a chewer, that would be yucky, and I don't know about you, but slathering on someone else's spit is not terribly appealing, either. I guess the search continues.
