Since I have not had time to be on here much just thought I would let you know of Oscar's new things in life.
He has decided that he wants to chew his boing (rope) apart. He will sit for a long time and try desperately to unthread it. Sure do not play with your toys, destroy things you need. lol
He has not pooped on me for months now. yeahhhhhh. Unless I take him out of course but then I wear the poop shawl and that is permitted. Praising him when I see him poop on paper seems to be working wonderful.
Lately he wants to play and play with me. He comes down to the couch and waits for me to pick him up and then we play tackle my hand. It is hilarious to see him rub up against my neck.... upside down... while he is laughing with me. I can actually tickle his belly with one hand while he clings upside down on my other hand... too funny.
I was amazed how well behaved he was when my house was full of company. Even though we were up late, I would dim the living room lights and close the blinds around 8:00 p.m. and tell him it was bedtime. He would not resist crawling in his house and staying there the entire night. (remember I never close his door). He would even take tie wraps from strangers and food. I was one proud mama. lol
Unfortunately since I returned from China he has not said a single word. Now he only makes the mumbling sounds (guess I taught him those)... but still no full sentences like he used to. I am sure in time he will... he always has a surprise for me somewhere.
Well guess that is all for now. Good to find time to come back on here. (smiles)
Maybe he's decided not to speak to you for a while after you went off and left him. I'd guess that he'll be saying those sentences again before too long.
