Shah saw the vet this morning. The bacterial infections have cleared but he has thrush which we are treating. He noticed that he had been plucking and I said I thought it was because of the grate. He is not so sure. He also feels he has a nut allergy and I am not to give him any more nuts. He had his wings clipped and he got his nurse to hold Shah so he wouldn't be mad with at me. I get the results of the faecal samples he took on Monday. We are having a wonderful day today - he is just so relaxed and has been hanging out with me - we even went to see my housemate's cockatiels in the aviary. He calls them Pippin He continues to enjoy his warm meals with the slave holding them until he finishes eating.

Sounds like he's milking this for all it's worth... But, seriously, I'm very glad for both of you that things are improving. Let's hope the results are good.

Another wonderful day with the boy. He still hasn't bitten me. He seems to be quite happy just hanging out with me. What was a surprise is that he remembered a game that we haven't played for months and months. He initiated it - I was gobsmacked. I am so pleased that he is feeling better. I try not to think about what I have put him through - just concentrating on making him happy. And he is loving the restaurant service
