Hello everyone. My name is Lee Ann. I just got my new Quaker parrot about a week ago. He/she is 12 weeks old. I have named him/her Echo. I am new to this type of bird. I have had brother and sister cockatiels for about 7 to 8 years. About a month ago a friend had asked if I could let my male cockatiel mate with his female. I told him it was fine. After a couple of weeks I decided to let him keep the male. I also have a pit bull named Zues and a cat named Taz. Along with my husband and my mother in law. Yes I have a full house. I am hoping that I can learn more about this type of bird.

Welcome to you and Echo (and everyone in your "full house"). You'll learn a lot by reading through the Forum posts-- and you're welcome to ask any questions you might have.
