I am on the Bird Tricks mailing list and saw the below. It made me laugh.

past week was from owners who are confused
about how to respond to their parrots who

for themselves whenever they want a treat!

Yes, that IS funny about the clicking noise.

I am DYING laughing over this! Having done clicker training with Pele and just beginning with Daisy (foster Goffins), I can't even imagine how ANNOYING this would be but REALLY AMUSING at the same time. Just thinking about how often Mr P would "click" for a treat, I'd be hearing the durn clicker ALL DAY LONG! LOL

Even though I've never target trained Mr P, he has been in the room to hear the clicker noise when I work with my fosters so he hears it a LOT!

That is almost terrifying
