Hi guys, we are the proud family of a Green Quaker called Rosie, but she escaped on June 12 from us and we are heart broken. If you see a Quaker around zip code 10901 (Suffern NY) please contact us. Thank you

I'm so sorry to hear about your lost loved one... I am not in the area (in Northern Virginia), but my heart goes out to you. I can only imagine how difficult that must be. I hope you find your little lady.

hey sorry to hear that, a couple of weeks my baby quaker of 7 weeks (at that time) flew for the fisrt time and she flew up to the trees and i thought i had lost her.. but she came back! she was gone for 24 hours and after calling her and calling her she would make noise for me to track her down to the tree she was in. a helpful tip that helped me get her back was showing her her favorite cage and a piece of millet. she was hungry and home sick and she did the impossible to get down from that tree! she flew right into me. DONT LOOSE HOPE! your baby will come back to you if you dont stop trying! best of luck!

Have you contacted the local animal welfare groups, vets., etc? You can put an advert in the local paper. It is worth it. A few years ago I had a cockatiel who flew away and did mail box drops, contacted all sorts of people and put a big ad in the local paper. It was the ad in the paper that got her returned to me. Don't give up hope but you have to contact as many people as you can in the hope of locating her. Good luck.
