Ralph seems to have grown tired of playing in the silverware drawer, and has moved on to explore the dish cupboard:

Go, Ralph! I've spent the last 5-10 minutes pointing at this photo of Ralph and saying to Bonnie "Look, it's Ralph! He is everything that should be embodied in a quaker (namely taste, good manners and photogenics) and what a quaker SHOULD be like [as opposed to aggressive and just plain rude]...Bonnie, if you're lucky, Ralph might be your overseas boyfriend via Skype!". Well, I said words to that effect. The response? - a dismissive look, accompanied by some HORRID squawking. Obviously Bonnie is not ready to consider anyone/anything but her own selfish, narcissistic needs, although one can but try.
Gary, I think Ralph is impressed by the yellow ceramic bowls. I know I am. They are extremely sophisticated and worthy of a closer look. You could try taking him to some antique stores - it would be a Visual Feast!

Lookin' good Ralph! I guess the era of spoons has come to an end?

That is the one thing I adore about these little ones... their joy in exploring. Oscar has crawled pretty much through every cupboard and closet I have. It is fun watching them check out everything with their bills. He loves walking over the upside down wine glasses... maybe it is the clicking noise he enjoys.
Ralph's feathers are gorgeous.

I like that photo a lot. Ralph looks like the embodiment of Quaker dignity there. Looking forward to the picture of the structure he will be able to build with this new material.

Since he has a spoon of his own, or several spoons, it's only logical that he should also require a bowl. Next he will demand to inspect the linens so he can choose the rest of his place setting.

Those yellow bowls are actually plastic; I paid all of 50 cents each for them many years ago when I kept running short of bowls the right size for cereal and salad. I have to keep one in the dishwasher for Ralph to find there; if there isn't one, he's disappointed. We're not entirely finished with spoons. Ralph will still take a clean one from the dishwasher back to the drawer once or twice when he's out to play. I need to get out the Irish linen napkins that I have stored in my brother's attic. I'm sure Ralph would approve of them. Ralph is particularly fond of the little cordial glass to his left in the picture. He likes me to hold it by its base so he can turn it around in circles by grasping the rim with his beak.

Ralph is particularly fond of the little cordial glass to his left in the picture. That sounds about right. Didn't you recently describe Ralph as being cordial? Maybe he's telling you to be cordial and put something in the glass.

Ralph is one handsome, civilised boy (I could say 'cute' but I imagine that he would dismiss such a word as being undignified). He could have a Wedgewood or Royal Albert dinner set, along with a silver cutlery set and his cordial glass and Irish linen napkin at the side. Maybe the quaker standards are "a'changin'".
