I have a breeding pair of blue Quakers in my aviary . Can you put any other types of birds with them in the aviary

Hi my aviary is 8x5 the flight. And 8x4 in the shed. Just got told you can't put any thing with them. Just seems a waste for just 1 pair in an aviary

It depends on your particular birds. I have three tiels, a budgie, a pigeon and two Quakers in a room together and they're out of their cages all day long. But even if you only have the two, more space is always better. They'll get lots of exercise flying around and that's healthy for them.

If you do decide to try adding birds to your aviary, I would be very cautious. Introducing a new bird(s) to birds who have already established their territory can be hazardous. I'd be especially watchful because it is a breeding pair. Quakers are colonial nesters in the wild, but yours may not appreciate an interloper of their own or another species.
