Congratulations on the bill of health! That is good to first eliminate physical causes for plucking as best you can. It's important to address plucking quickly, before it becomes ingrained behavior. I hope you are able to do that. There is some experience with it here, if you have any questions. Welcome to the forum to you and Sanbi!

I'm happy for you that it isn't PBFD. Does your vet think the feather problem is linked to the previous fungal infection? What do the abnormal feathers look like? Pin feathers can be very uncomfortable. Normally, I would recommend misting Sanbi frequently with a little aloe juice added to distilled water, but with everything that has gone on with him, I'd say you should check with the vet before trying it. Red palm oil and organic food are good. It does take some time for any improvement to show. Not every feather is always molted every year, and until the new ones come in, you may not see too much benefit from the better diet. But you are doing a good thing with them.

Welcome to you and Sanbi! I'm glad he is OK. I don't have any experience with plucking behaviour, but others on this forum do and they will probably see your post and reply. What part of the world are you in?

Where in Texas? I'm close to the Louisiana border, not far from I-20. I hope you've learned to like banana flavoring. My husband is European, and while he is quite fluent in English, he has found the Texas accent hard to decipher. I spent two weeks in Japan years ago, in the Navy. Mostly Yokosuka, but I also got to see some of Tokyo. A beautiful country, and everything is so well-maintained. I love listening to the language.
