See, personally I don't think I would have the patience for dark room photography. My highschool girlfriend was really into it, and while I can understand the appeal, for my own mediocre attention span, digital photography is perfect. At least that way I can tell if I've completely screwed up the settings before I waste a whole roll of film and spend all that time developing it

My husband used to develop his own black and white photos (many years ago) and they looked great. I am like Aaron, I wouldn't have the 'focus' (sorry!) for it. I always intend taking more digital photos too, but don't want to become one of these people who are so absorbed in their devices that, instead of enjoying a moment for itself, are holding up phones/cameras and looking through them. Hope I haven't offended anyone...

LOL I don't see a bird in the first one....the first one is a close up of a fly on a tree. The second is harder...there's a tree frog... Okay, now I see the fly, and I can no longer see the bird. I'm not sure that was a good trade. But I still can't see the frog in the second one. Am I the only one? Hint?

I can't get over how good their camouflage is. This one is on a propane tank. It's a bit easier to see!

I never saw the frog the first time - I can see it now. That is absolutely brilliant

See, personally I don't think I would have the patience for dark room photography. My highschool girlfriend was really into it I don't suppose you have her phone number? Maybe we could go into the darkroom together and see what develops. (Bad old photography joke that I couldn't resist resurrecting). There was a certain satisfaction I used to get from film photography and darkroom work that I just am not getting from digital photography and manipulating images on the computer screen. I try not to think about all the pictures I took that came out badly, and the spoiled rolls of film... I like to think that the good pictures I took made up for any mistakes or failures.

Even after I saw it the first time, I really struggled to see it the next. Remarkable camouflage and a great photo!

Man that was hard to find! Once I saw the photo with the other frog I was able to find it in this one... but I stared right at that guy for a while and did not see him. Crazy! Hahaha... lol that's some high quality humor right there!

Hahaha... lol that's some high quality humor right there! It may have been a photographic pioneer like George Eastman himself who first came up with that one, or maybe Louis Daguerre. I know it's been around even longer than I have, and that's a long time.
