I think Peppy gets sweeter by the day. He doesn't come out of his cage on his own, but most of the time he leaps for my hand when I offer to take him out. He doesn't want to go to a play stand or other perch, or even walk around and check things out. Just wants to hang out on me. Yesterday he curled up on the inside of my elbow, put his cheek against me, and had a snooze. What a love!

Wow, that's awesome! I wish Sonic was that way. Keep up the good work.

Awww that's great! What a sweetie pie. You guys have made amazing progress!
Cupcake has been amazingly sweet and well behaved lately in spite of springtime-- I wonder if there is some sort of Quaker conspiracy going on. I bet Ralph knows something about this...

I love when they can be sweethearts. Like in the mornings... when I get up and Oscar crawls out of his house... he comes to me and sits on my finger cleaning himself while I watch tv and drink a coffee. My favorite snuggle time of the day.

Shah snuggles with his beak - usually leaving a bruise behind to remind me of our "special time" together

Ralph is still busy with his spoon construction projects-- much too busy to fall asleep while perched on me. His disposition is pretty much what it usually is-- cordial but not cuddly. I suppose he considers cuddling to be undignified.

Cordial but not cuddly - totally in keeping with my vision of a gentleman Quaker. Peppy reminds me periodically that he is his own Quaker. Didn't want to cuddle, and didn't want to come out of his cage a couple times yesterday. One does not want to become predictable, I suppose.

Clyde cuddles usually precede a session of parrot pole dancing, so I'm always suspicious when he's in an affectionate mood. Jade has been somewhat grouchy lately. The tiel boys are visiting their "special" toy on top of Clyde's cage more and more often. Maggie has laid two eggs a week for a month (yes, she has access to extra calcium). The only normal bird in the bunch is Ringo, who did her spring fling in January and is over it now.

If I knew of a parrot stripper joint, I'd get him a job so he could earn his own keep. He's got some killer moves.

I think you've identified a niche business opportunity.

What shall we call it? There was a stripper joint in Starsky & Hutch called The Jungle Room. Or perhaps The Parrot Parlor. Quaker A-Go-Go? Instead of "Girls! Girls! Girls!" on the sign outside, we can put "Parrots! Parrots! Parrots!" and you won't have to be 21 to come inside. LOL

LOL... This is funny, because the parrot store near me has a sign that says something like "Parrots! Parrots! Just.. PARROTS!" ... I've been trying to find a photo of it but no luck unfortunately.
