there smart and love attention praise and affection. they live to please you, don't give in to them is he or she screams when you live the room. once you give in he or she will always use that scream to call you for attention and affection

Welcome! Read through the posts here on the Forum and you'll learn a lot about Quaker parrots. Visit the companion site Quakerparrots.com too. There are some good books about QPs, like Guide to the Quaker Parrot by Mattie Sue Athan, where you'll find still more information. If you have specific questions, please ask them and someone here is sure to have answers for you.  |

Hi sherrylyn... there is just so very much to learn about quakers. They can be screamers and lovers... I agree with others... just ask questions and we shall do our best to inform you of what we know.
