Harrison’s bird diet currently (March 6 2024) has a Bogo sale on their high potency fine pepper pellets. You can get 1-12 bags based on your purchase. These are expensive pellets so some may be interested.
High potency is the yummy fattier Harrison’s pellets you start your bird out on. I started my Quaker on high potency regular flavor and switched to maintenance diet after several months. I will use the hi potency pepper as a hand feeding treat for my fussy boy who needs his daily cuddles and likes to be fed from my hand.
Our current project is trying to get Willow to wear a bird harness, so he can go outside without risk of flying away. He likes the pepper pellets (and I think they’re kinda good too). So I hope they work as a training treat because avicakes get expensive and sunflower seeds are not so good for him.
