My Quaker parrot has always been able to fly does not have clipped wings but without the past two months if she try’s to fly she falls or gets like 2 feet off the ground and tumbles down . She is otherwise healthy eats is normal besides that . She is ten years old if anyone has any suggestions or help please chime in thanks .

Sorry that your Quaker is having a problem flying. Even though she seems normal otherwise it might be a good idea to schedule a vet visit. She could have an injury of some kind that isn't readily visible or there could be some underlying illness that isn't apparent. I've never experienced this with any of my parrots who have sometimes chosen not to fly though they were able to.

My last Quaker had been injured by a child and lost ability to fly at all.
In her case probably nerve damage. Maybe your girl has arthritis?
