Because I am not able to drive and am strapped for time these days, I was wondering if anyone ever had any groceries delivered. Looking into organic for the bird. If so what do you recommend for ordering organic, especially fresh produce?

I've only ordered groceries online for delivery once, when my car was stuck at the service garage for four days and I needed food. It actually took me longer to put together my online order than it would have for me to push a cart around the store and get things from the shelves. It cost more too. Online prices were 10-30% higher than in-store prices from the same store, plus there was a $6.95 delivery charge and the tip. It really didn't work that well for me and I wouldn't do it again unless I got stuck again and couldn't get to the store. The order was delivered quickly and there was only one minor mistake. Some of my neighbors at the apartment complex always have groceries delivered, so it does work better for some people.
If I were ordering for Ralph I would concentrate on his favorite foods so that should work for you and your parrot too. Check out what the store has to offer and you ought to find some good choices for a parrot. When I had groceries delivered all I ordered for Ralph was his favorite fresh sugar snap peas. I had to order the pre-packaged ones (I normally get them from the bulk produce bin so I can choose the best ones), and fewer than half the peas in the package were useful. Definitely better than none at all though. You might have to experiment a little to find the best choices and best values.

Most of our grocery stores have delivery and they all have organic produce available. I’ve done lots of pickup but never delivery. At the store I use most often for that I pay a yearly fee and it’s free. But that is Canada , I can’t give you American options. Hope you can find a store that works for you.

I have ordered online, but this is likely no use to you because I'm in Australia! But I agree with Gary, the online took longer and the delivery was a pain because we have an electric gate and I had to be home or give them the gate code to open it and deposit the parcels, etc. They made mistakes too, but they usually went in my favour (I got extra stuff!). :0
