My guys were looking scruffy so they each had a long splashy session in their Swan recirculating pet waterer.
I think it might be a little small for Jasper; she won’t get down into the bowl but it SEEMS it should be big enough. Maybe she’s just shy.
The trickling stream of water seems very tempting to Willow and Jasper. It falls so evenly that it doesn’t make much noise, so I’ll interrupt the stream with my finger and make it plink and splash more.
If I had an aviary I think I’d just leave one of these running all the time.

It's nice that the parrots enjoy their swan fountain. I'm not sure that Ralph would like it, but he does enjoy watching water running from the kitchen faucet, so the swan might appeal to him.

Sounds like they are getting used to their swan fountain. Casey loves just coming into the shower with me and getting under the spray. First he starts whistling then he just goes under the spray and just stands still enjoying it.

I just got a grab bar put in my shower and I’m planning on using it as a parrot perch. Because it takes a little while to set up the fountain each time and it may get be easier just to pop the bird in the shower with me.

Casey waits on the shower door and then when I’m done he just sits on my arm whistling under the spray

Pippin enjoys watching running water as well; he has a special 'water song' (a sort of liquid sounding warble) that he makes when he's bathing, and whenever we're in the bathroom or kitchen. He doesn't like getting under running water though, he prefers a bowl for bathing

Ralph and Pippin have a lot in common. He prefers splashing in his water dish, but usually wants to be misted at the same time. He just likes watching the running water in the sink but doesn't want to get too close to it. When I first got Ralph, he was a little timid about the running water but like many things, he overcame his apprehensions. "Water" is one of the words in his vocabulary and he knows what it means. He's never attempted to imitate the sound of running water though. Pretty clever of Pippin.

Lucy used to make the drippy water noise along with her request “want drink”.
She would also serenade me if I brought her in the bathroom with me. That is why I try not to bring them in the bathroom. You never know what they will choose to imitate.
