It looks like grandson #2 is going to be born via C-section on Friday 3/27. I will be headed up to Jacksonville where my daughter, her husband and grandson #1 live, on Thurs. I didnt think I'd be as excited over this one as I was the first, but I was wrong. I AM SO EXCITED Ironically enough, 3/27/07 is the day I had to say goodbye to my dear friend Aggie, who was a Shepherd/Chesapeake Bay retriever mix, it was that dreaded trip to the vet when you know they aren't coming home. It's always been such a sad day for me (even after all these years), now it will be a happy one, although Aggie won't be forgotten, ever!

Thank you! It will be a little different this time as I will be at my daughter's house looking after grandson #1 instead of in the hosp. waiting for the big moment.

Congrats! I'll bet you'll have a great time having your grandson all to yourself for a while. And what a help to the new parents.

Thank you all for your wonderful thoughts and wishes. My first grandson is Elijah and my daughter and her husband are telling everyone they stuck with the "biblical" theme, Elijah and Luke. I, however, know that my son in law is an AVID Star Wars fan and Luke was really named for Luke Skywalker. I am unsure where Owen came from, I should ask them! LOL
Mom and baby come home from hospital tomorrow and I'll head back to my own home towards the end of the week. Then Luke's other set of grandparents come to visit.
