 Casey is having a great 16th birthday, he got his favourite breakfast and shared some of our lunch too. I paid for the photo shoot with a raw pumpkin seed, his favourite treat! |

Happy 16th Birthday to Casey!  Hope he enjoys his special day and has many more happy birthdays to come. That's a great picture of Casey. He looks like he's waiting for the crocheted owl to say something to him.  |

Happy (late) 16 th birthday, Casey! Did you find my good hatchday presents?
It is wonderful to share many years together with your best bird friend.
I’ve been trying to get a photo of Willow with a little pumpkin, but he thinks it’s scary. Willow is quite a shy Quaker. After Halloween, I will chop the tiny pumpkins into wedges and freeze them. Then I can feed a wedge of warmed pumpkin and seeds for willow’s and Jsper’s dinners through the winter.

He used to love his boing but I took it out years ago as he was ingesting the threads. Casey is small too, about 92 grams on average. That’s a good idea to freeze some pumpkin I will try it. There are lots of tiny baking pumpkins at our grocery store |
