Hello!!! My name is Bryan. I am new to this site and have recently found out that Quakers belong in my life. I obtained a single female green Quaker from a wonderful lady that rescued her and then discovered that she was allergic to Quakers. Well needless to say Mickey is now part of the family. I have been a hobbyist breeder for quite some time now and of course after Mickey came into my life I then searched out a breeding pair of quakers to try my hand at breeding them. So I figured where better to learn Quaker facts from then the Quaker Parrot Forum!

I'm afraid if I discovered I was allergic to my quaker, I would just have to suffer through it. But it is your good luck that not everyone can. Welcome to you and Mickey!

Welcome both of you. It will be very interesting to hear about your breeding experience. I used to breed love birds and I never had to do too much to help them. Just give them room for a little house (which I added to the side of the cage)... then changed the diet a little by adding boiled eggs... made sure they got lots of exercise.. (they would fly all around the house together)... and they did pretty much the rest themselves. I will tell you... they don't call them "love birds" for nothing... lol... (not stop starring... lol)
