Hello there!
My parrot very often grinds his beak while he is walking out from the cage. I've visited 2 veterinarians and they found nothing. Bird droppings are good and we've also sharpened his beak. There are no results and I don't know what to do. He still grinds his beak.
You can look the situation on YouTube by my link -
Parrot's age is 2 years old.
Is anyone faced this problem? Thanks in advance for each reply.

Welcome! 😀 Beak grinding is usually the sign of a happy and contented parrot. It's often done when a parrot is sleepy too, and is comfortably settling in to rest. It's unlikely that it would it be an indication of illness or distress.

I don't think it's a problem when a QP grinds his/her beak often. It probably just shows that your parrot is in a good mood.

Thank you. But I have mixed feelings about this. He can really do this during hours and he haven't done this never before. It looks like mushroom illness or something like that.

If you're concerned about possible illness, the best course of action is a vet visit with an avian certified veterinarian. Since you have already been to two veterinarians, it's possible that either there's nothing wrong or they may not have done a complete examination, including blood work, which could detect underlying illness. If you don't have confidence in the vets you've already consulted, you may need to find another one. A thorough examination might be able to set your mind at ease.
