Hi again, Guys. I'm hoping that everyone here is having a wonderful time. In addition, I was wondering if you could tell me whether or not Munchkin Kitten get along well with Blue and Gold Macaws Parrots because I'm planning on getting one Munchkin kitten soon. I'm simply curious to know if anyone has any suggestions for me on that matter. It will be of great assistance.

I don't really know anything about Munchkin kittens specifically, though the usual wisdom is that cats and birds don't mix well. I'm not sure how things would go with a big Macaw and a tiny kitten; I imagine that such a small cat could be intimidated by such a big parrot. My best advice would be to keep them separated, and if that's impossible, extremely close supervision would be necessary.

Hi and welcome to the forum. I think cnyguy is right a tiny kitten could easily get told off or hurt by a macaw. My friend has cats with her African greys in her house the cats and birds have learned to ignore each other. She got finches one time and I inherited them as her cats wouldn’t leave the finch cage alone. They would need to both be supervised to see how they react to each other

I think the danger is that one of them would try to annoy or play boisterously with the other - which is playing with fire due to the different species and them not having the skills to use restraint to override their hard-wired instincts.
