Hi, Pele. Nice of you to drop by and let us know how you're doing. Nice of you not to bite those tempting feet too.

Hi Pele! That's a pretty tasty looking carrot you've got in your foot. I'm so glad you're doing well! Did you know your new parronts seem to have a broken auto-focus on their camera? Really awesome to know that he is doing well!! That's so great.

LOl yeah, hopefully they are better parronts than photographers They are doing their best to keep in touch with me and I really appreciate that as Pele was sort of like a student to me and I want to see him shine in his new home

I can imagine... Do you think they would consider joining the forum?
Edit: Realizing now that this makes little sense considering Pele is not a QP... haha oh well.

It's good to see Pele being indulged! Getting mentally prepared for the next one, Sharyn?

Thanks Sharyn, for updating us on Pele. I'm impressed that he's eating a carrot and not those nice painted toenails!

These folks don't really participate in online based forums. I joined a Pionus facebook page and asked them to join if they did FB but they don't. So they send me the updates and I just post them.
I think they are really brave, I wouldnt leave my feet down like that when Pele was wandering around, although, to his credit, he never did try to bite my feet. Perhaps all other parts, but not my toes.
I am eager for the next one! It looks like it's going to be a Goffins, as I don't see the Hahns available anymore for intake. This means either the owners decided to keep him or someone else fostered him. There are actually 2 goffins on the intake list now, so I will probably take the original one I was looking at before.
My daughter should be delivering grandson #2 in the next 2 weeks so once I am home from Jacksonville, where she lives, I will be taking in a new foster. I am a little concerned about the noise level that a Goffins can produce but since I am home most of the day, hopefully he /she won't find too many opportunities to scream.

My thoughts exactly on the feet. My toes hurt just looking at that photo. If that were Cupcake, there would be a hurt toe in the next 10 seconds... That's exciting about the Goffins. I am eager to hear how it goes!
