Pauly is in mating season. I finally came home to the fateful "gunk" near his privates, and him doing inversion-therapy in the dark, like some tragic, melancholy Emo Boy. I tickled his chest the way he likes, tickled his neck the way he likes, he seemed fine, and then the Emo Boy began absolutely chewing me out for not spending the rest of the night in the cage with him. He's outside cooling his heels now while the Twins (Conures) huddle in the back of their cage observing me type. I can't believe we all have to put up with him for the next 5 weeks like this. I know the Twins are sick of it, too. Nobody has to be perfect around here, but sheesh..... What's the best way to clean them when they have incidents like this?

Casey likes to bathe in a shallow dish, hopefully you can convince Pauly that would be fun

Chewy likes to bathe in a shallow dish, too. He throws water EVERYWHERE!

Thanks. Pauly went into "self cleaning mode" last night while I slept, so everyone got their bottle-mist bath this morning on the back steps. He was okay with bath-in-a-pan last time I tried, but I had to throw the water on him because he just stood there. I'll do that tomorrow.
