Sammy now commands me to step up on a regular basis when he wants me to pay attention to him. Followed by tons of kissing sounds.

Gordon frequently tells me to step up. I don't think they understand the ramifications of huge human stepping up onto a little green chicken! In the mornings, he has a snit fit if I don't stare directly at him for 5 or 10 minutes. Who know what goes on in those little birdy heads? ~Sandee~

Sandee, our QP Cupcake is similarly picky about getting eye contact. If we don't start the day off right, giving her lots of direct eye contact, she is not okay with that. And the longer the day goes on without that eye contact, the worse her behavior gets... But generally I can turn it around simply by actually giving her the eye contact she wants, as long as she hasn't gotten *too* upset yet. Haha... I wish I knew exactly what was going on in that birdie head.
