Well... my company is gone after a week staying with me (two sisters and their husbands) and Oscar did very well with them around. At first he was screaming scared but it did not take long for him to warm up. The family started passing him ... his favorite tye wraps... to build his house in the kitchen cupboard and as soon as Oscar realized they were easy to train... he gave in and stopped screaming.
He would call me many times to get my hand inside his house to reassure him that I was still his girl... lol... and that was fine. He most certainly would not go to their fingers but would take food from them or.... tye wraps.
My family play guitars and sing a lot so this is something Oscar is not used to and he would try to out sing them... no luck... so he would scream at the guitar (which is mostly red).... but it went quite well overall.
The only problem Oscar had was bedtime. He goes to bed by 8:00 pm and because no one else would (except me)... he would scream at them to be quiet... lol.
My family was wonderful and very respectful of having Oscar around. All the smokers went outside to do their thing.... and I appreciated this sooooo much. One I reminded them of how small his little lungs were... they had no problem keeping the smoke away. Great people!!
Ok... I caught up on the stories I missed and I am happy to be back... talk to you all later.

Sounds like everyone had an enjoyable visit and Oscar made some new friends.

Your family sounds a lot more interesting - and less dysfunctional - than mine...

I'll bet Oscar really enjoyed having someone/something to scream with. You might seem a little sedate compared to a red guitar.
