Mr P and I just got back from the vet for his annual check. He weighs in at 104 grams (just 2 grams over what he was when I got him). It turns out he was born in 2009 which makes him 5, going on 6, instead of 4 going on 5, according to his leg band. But the best news of all was he is in perfect health and the vet told me not to change a thing that I was doing. Loved hearing that!
The vet told me he was "a perfect weight"!
I'm actually reading the invoice now
It says "Health Apparent. No Bloodwork"
Aww and it also says under Client Instructions: GREAT BIRD!

Nothing like a clean bill of health to make a parront proud! It's that positive reinforcement thing.

And actually, since I am celebrating his bday and his gotcha day together, he has aged 2 years and has just turned 6. Well hell. I'm glad I don't age 2 years at a time!
