Tomorrow (October 1) is Ralph's 12th Hatchday. It hardly seems possible that he's already 12 years old; it seems like only yesterday I brought home a little green 6-month-old Quaker parrot. I think the gift he'd most appreciate would be a day off from molting (his molt went into high gear this week), but he probably won't get that. I did get him some new wooden dowels for his QP construction projects, and he'll get some special treats too. As he'd say himself, he's a "good parrot" and deserves to enjoy his special day.
