Rascal's favorite song is "Thriller" by Michael Jackson. He also likes when my 11 yro grandson sings. He kind of twists back and forth when JD is singing What do you do with a big fat butt.

This must be the 7th time I have played that video. My entire family just loved it. I only hope I can get a good one of Oscar like that. Sooooo cute.

Mine are singers, not dancers, and Jade is a percussionist (takes after her mommy). They love music so much that when they hear it, nobody else can hear it due to their enthusiastic chiming in. When I practice my flute, Ringo and Trixie join in and Rex will even come out of his cave to listen. I'm not that good. But they don't know that, so don't tell them. LOL Playing the guitar or something for the parrots is the only exception to the Quaker rule that all attention must be focused on Clyde.

I need to practice the piano more... Cupcake seems to really enjoy it but I have been really bad about finding time for it in recent years. She also really loves to sit on our DJ booth while one of us is spinning (I used to DJ and produce music a lot, although not in a few years). She loves it when I drum on our 5 gallon deer park water bottles too. Definitely loves music in general.

I don't think Bonnie would be at all impressed at me playing the trumpet (haven't played it since I quit it professionally, a few years before her 'gotcha' day). I could definitely drown her out!

Grim is a fan of Johnny Cash. He loves it when I snap my fingers and change all the lyrics to every song with the word "bird".

Haha... we like to change songs with the word "bird" as well... Cupcake digs being serenaded.

I change the words to "Shah" - he thinks its great and bops along. He just loves it when it is all about him

Funny about changing the words..the only thing we really sing that Mr P seems to really like is Old McDonald had a farm. I changed the words to "with a Piggy piggy here and a piggy piggy there", replacing the word oink. I thought he would like that and start saying piggy. (yes, I call him that informally at home when no one else is around). Instead, he meows like a cat. We don't own a cat so I'm pretty sure he got it from the song

Ha Sharyn, I also do Old McSharni had a farm - use duck, Pippin, sheep and cow. He loves the sheep and screams when I make the baa sound. I also do "how much is that Sharni in the window" - he loves that and actually says "Shah" when I sing his name. By the way, Shah's name is actually Sharni but had an animal communicator come in when I realised he was a boy (the pet shop said he was female) so I asked about his name. He "prefers" Shah - so Shah it is unless he is being naughty

I never knew that. Sharni is a nice name for a girl but Shah seems to really suit him!
