Is it a kind of horrible, strident shrieking? Bonnie does that sort of noise sometimes. It's usually when she spots a dog or people outside through the window, or sees the lawn mower or vacuum cleaner. But now and then she's done it when I couldn't see anything different at all...attention-seeking? I wonder.

Beeker LOVES potatoes of all kinds. Raw, boiled, baked, french fries, you name it. Though he is kind of picky about his mashed potatoes... LOL
I used my postal scale to weigh him, and he is 120g. Is that a good weight?

I used my postal scale to weigh him, and he is 120g. Is that a good weight? Bonnie is only 100-105g, although apparently (as a general rule) the blue quakers are smaller than the greens. Beeker sounds like he weighs in very well!

There's a pretty good range of what's considered normal weight, but Beeker sounds well within that. Mine is about 132g. If he's had a vet check and that is considered good for him, all you have to do is weigh him regularly to make sure he doesn't go up or down too much.

Cupcake is a fairly small green quaker, having weighed in at 103g last time she went for a checkup.
I have read 90-150g as far as the range for an average healthy quaker weight.
