Pepito's feathers are falling down, we are not sure if this is normal. He looks okay and doesn't have any bald spots but I worry.
Is it normal for them to molt?

Yes. It’s normal for Quaker parakeets to moult and to do that in late summer. My Quaker started in July, I think, and is done now (Sept 8).
When your bird mounts you shouldn’t see any bald spots. But seeing lots of fluffy feathers and some wing and tail feathers is normal.
My Quaker looks so nice now with his fresh new feathers! He chews them a bit when he’s stressed or bored (only a little) so a replacement was in order. His bib looks really cute.

Heatherg is correct, the moulting is normal for all parrots.
For our Bonnie, she moults on and off all year - as we are in the Northern Territory (Australia) and it's very little variation in temperature. Most days here are around 33 degrees Celsius all year, with just variations in humidity.

Does your bird shed wing and tail feathers at a certain time of year?
