As you can see my profile picture Chester and Zelda settled in very well. That is Zelda on my knee. And Chester will sit on the back of my chair. But still can not handle them yet. My hubby and son and I just can not wait to have them sitting on our fingers. I was a bad girl and ended up buying a couple of babies. We named them Tobias which is my sons bird, and he was 10 months when we got him, he is now around 12 months I believe. The other babies was 12 months and now is around 14 months I named him tank. We have 4 QP's now and we just love hang them here. My sons bird is just now trying to talk. Since we bought the babies Chester and Zelda surprise us daily. There is always that hope we can handle them. Oh and we took them to the vets and had them groomed and they are healthy little buggers.

Four Quakers! That will guarantee that there'll never be a dull moment at your house! Glad that things are going well for you and the flock.

You certainly don't do things by halves, do you? Welcome to Tobias and Tank. Hope they teach Chester and Zelda that human hands are not something to be afraid of.

Yes they do get noises. More around afternoon. Chester and Zelda are doing very well. After a week with Tobias and tank they started coming over to me sitting on the chair, I was so excited. I took pictures and text the hubby and kid. They were like what that is so cool. So for now we towl them for a bit play with there heads and beaks. They don't try and bite you in the towel. But at first they did. Tobias and tank are great and they want to be out all the time. So we take turns on letting them out and play for right now. I get 2 weeks off for Christmas I all ready warned Chester and Zelda there in trouble and gonna be held and loved on. Lol and the babies too.

They are lucky to have such a good home with you. Get ready for some serious cleaning up, though...between poop and 'destruction mode' you will be very busy!

yes, i have lots to do with these guys, plus i have 4 dogs. 2 of them outside and 2 inside. sometimes it is hard because it is cold outside. but dogs will be out side for the summer. to let my birds out one at a time i have to send dogs to my bedroom. I dont let babies out with the 2 year olds yet, not sure what they will do to the babies. maybe while i am off after tomorrow we will see.
any ideas on how to start them out all together.

My two cents: Put them all in neutral territory if you can, to start out. Parrots can be quite territorial. Also, keep a close eye on Chester and Zelda, if they are a bonded pair. They could feel threatened by the others once they are out together. Just start slow and put them together for progressive lengths of time. You can give everyone treats as long as they are behaving, so they will associate being together with good things.
I'll be interested to read how it goes.

Thank you, any advice will work. But I think I will wait make sure my son and hubby are here to help. I think Chester and Zelda might like the babies. I have their cage in my dinning room and when I let them out when it's just me they will fly to the curtain rod above the babies. They don't miss with them just looks down at the cage.

Help is good, especially with 4 quakers (and 4 dogs)! It sounds like your bonded pair of quakers is interested in the babies. How is everything going?
