Romeo has switched step up training on me. When he wants to play with me he'll say step up repeatedly. Its so cute what I'm wondering is if this will effect how he acts when I ask him to step up in the future? Has anuone else had this happen?

My Sweetea will say "step up" when she wants me to come get her. She even lifts her right foot when she says it. She also still steps up when I ask her to. It isn't a problem don't be worried

Thank you! I've only had Romeo for a month and I feel like a new mother lol! We've all been there. I felt the most helpless when I first got chickens. Every weird sound, odd movement, or change in poop (and they have different ones routinely), would send me flying to the books, research sites, and discussion boards. I think the only way not to go through this is to just not pay attention. It does sound like things are going very well and that you have a pretty sweet little guy there.

Shah steps up when I ask him to. But he oftens says step up to me when I think he wants out of his cage. So I go to get him and he runs away. As soon as I leave the room he calls out step up and back I go, only to have him run away again. He thinks it is a great game and can happily play it all day.

When Rascal is put back in his cage for being bad, he starts saying step up, good boy, pretty baby and bye-bye. Repeats them over and over.

When Rascal is put back in his cage for being bad, he starts saying step up, good boy, pretty baby and bye-bye. This sounds very familiar. When (regularly) Bonnie is incarcerated in her cage for biting or destroying something, she always says "Good girl, Bonnie" over and over....to which my husband replies "Good girl, my ass!" I'm sure she'll say THAT soon...
