Hi all,
I've recently cut down all my kiwifruit vines, and now have A LOT of dried branches lying around.
I want to make some play equipment for my quakers, but I thought I should check if this type of wood is okay for them.
There's so many lists out there discussing dangerous plants for parrots, but kiwi vines are never on the list. I can't find anything saying that it's toxic...but also can't find anything saying that it's safe.
Does anyone know?
If I can't find out, then I won't use them - better to be safe.
Thanks!

I couldn't find it on any of the lists I usually go to, either, even as gooseberry. Odd. But I agree with you on not using anything you're not sure of. I'm reluctant to use anything around my yard, because pesticides can linger in wood for years. We use very little here, with the exception of imported fire ant bait, but I don't know what previous residents did.
