My Quaker is 27 years old and the last 4 years, every time in the fall I find a lump on his body and it is subsequently removed because either it is getting too big or he starts to pick at it. The last surgery he had was in October 2020. A tumor was removed on his elbow. The first 2 lumps I paid for a pathologist report. One was malignant and one was benign. The other tumors I decided to forgo the pathology report to save some money and because it wouldn't help things and it wouldn't change his care. The vet doesn't know why these are appearing and he is otherwise completely normal and healthy except these tumors that pop up in different parts of his body every year.
He has one right now on his wing. I have been researching turmeric and potentially shrinking tumors. Is anyone knowledgeable about this or just about giving turmeric to their birds? Not sure if I should be giving him grated fresh or organic powder. Also I don't know if I should be making a paste with in and putting it directly on the lump.
Your advice is appreciated.

Sorry that I can't offer any advice; I know nothing about how turmeric might be used with parrots. You might consult with your veterinarian about it; he/she could undoubtedly be more helpful than I can.
