We were watching the news and this clip came on with Vladimir Putin laughing. Well, Bonnie immediately started laughing and went for about 3 minutes! Mind you, she'd been feisty right before, having removed my favourite orange pen from its holder (for the 2nd time) and flown up to the wall ledge to screech with delight over it.... 
My question is - do any political figures set off your QP? |

We rarely have the TV on until after the birds tucked are tucked into bed. My grey responds to our laughter with a maniacal cackle of her own, but if anything really tickles Peppy, he's keeping that, and his political leanings, to himself.  |

I watch an old soap opera about vampires and stuff called Dark Shadows. There are a lot of stupid women on that show that scream a lot. Mr P thinks their screaming is HILARIOUS and will alway laugh maniacally when the women start to scream

Mine will laugh when I do or when I'm watching something with a laugh track and the "audience" laughs. My pigeon likes to stand right in front of the screen when there's a musical group performing. Other than that, they ignore TV for the most part.

Ralph never has laughed at any political figures, but he has pooped on a few pictures of them in the newspaper at the bottom of his cage. |

lol, yup, no tv on here either until Casey is in bed and she lives in the living room, where there isn't any tv... but yes she paints the paper on the bottom of her cage each day! She does join in laughing when anyone in the room is laughing and she can do a great high pitched kiddie screech too |

There is one columnist in particular whose photo I instruct Jade to poop on and I have also placed a few other people's photos in strategic locations for being pooped on. Ringo is the best candidate for pooping on pictures, though, because she can take a clean newspaper and cover it entirely in one day. The boys and Maggie can't be counted on to poop on the proper people. "No, don't poop on MOMMY'S stories! Mommy's stories buy your food!"

I have also placed a few other people's photos in strategic locations for being pooped on. So, I'm not the only one who does that. Ralph is apparently non-partisan; he pooped on pictures of both congressional candidates in the recent election. |

It's a pity Bonnie poops everywhere BUT the newspaper...she even did it on my husband's bare leg and hand the other day. I'm sure she understood too, as she laughed straight away afterwards.  |

We have the Victorian State Election coming up on the 29th November. Maybe you could send Ralph over on a plane to Australia and I could get him to poop on the photos of the Labour and Liberal candidates he likes least...  |

This thread cracks me up. I can honestly say I've never intentionally placed a newspaper article or photo beneath my birds to determine their political views. Look at that, just got back and I've already learned something.

Not political, but Happy always laughs when Judge Judy snaps at someone on television. Apparently she's hysterical.
