I have a 11 year old green quaker parrot who has developed a brown patch of feather tips on his right wing. Perhaps for a few months. I initially thought they will be replaced by new feathers but now I wonder if it is permanent discoloration or malnutrition or other problems? He is on a healthy pellet and veggies diet although he is picky. Anyone have any experience with this?
