So I have a Quaker parrot, his name is Mo, he is 6 years old, I’ve had him since he was less than a year.
All his life he doesn’t like being down low, if he’s on my shoulder and I sit down, he flies to huge cage top which is higher.
A few days ago I got new shoes, and he was on my shoulder when I was dancing, they made some squeaking sounds on my basement floor, so he flew down and staring trying to play with my laces.
I had to hide them so he would leave them alone.
Now every time I put on shoes he jumps down on the floor and plays with them or attacks them.
He also jumps down to the floor now just to walk around, instead of landing on me he follows me by walking.
He has also been a lot louder more often since the new shoes too.
He is heathy and happy and has a good diet and lots of attention and toys and only sleeps in his cage.
