I volunteer for an organization called ALLY (allrelief.org). I am currently trying to help 7 cats reunite with their family. Please see the link below. This is just a friendly reminder to always research any charity you're considering donating to.
I personslly don't know anything about this one, but you can check the legitimacy of any charity by going to the Secretary of State's website in the state where they are supposedly registered. If they claim to be a federal 501c3 non-profit organization, you can check that status on the IRS website.
