Chewy has developed a fascination for trying to chew on my lip and nostrils. If he is by my face he goes for it constantly. He’s not biting hard. Honestly in my nostrils it’s like he is just smelling. On my lips it’s like he’s trying to eat my saliva? He is my first bird so I don’t know if this is normal? I remove him from my face area because it’s probably weird and also don’t want to get bit. Lol. But he gets mad about it. Is this just chewy?

Parrots like to explore, chew on and preen different parts of the human head-- noses, hair, ears, so on. It is best to move Chewy away from your face, and perfectly normal for him to get mad when you do. The area around the mouth should especially be avoided. Human saliva contains bacteria that are potentially harmful to birds.

Hahah, Chewy is probably just trying to preen you because he loves you! But there is a fine line between looking after your friend and wanting to be a 'mate' - so just use your judgement and if he goes a bit over the top, maybe some cage time away from you is appropriate.
