Hi I'm here to learn as much as I can to care for my new Quaker which I will get in about 3 weeks. My first question is should I get him early and hand feed or should I wait until he is wean off

Welcome!  I'm sure you're excited about your new feathered friend joining you soon. Since handfeeding is such a delicate operation, and challenging for anyone inexperienced, I'd recommend waiting for your QP to be weaned before bringing him home. Reading through the Forum posts is a great way to learn more about Quaker parrots. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask them. |

Hi and welcome to the forum. It’s great you are researching everything before you bring your Quaker home. I second cnyguy you should definitely wait until your Quaker is weaned before you bring him or her home, that’s way safer.
